Miley Cyrus has successfully outperformed her estranged father, Billy Ray Cyrus, by reaching the pinnacle of the country music charts.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer has soared to new heights with her latest duet, "II Most Wanted," on Beyoncé's latest album, Cowboy Carter.

According to a source who spoke to In Touch, "Miley teaming with Beyoncé is a major coup. Cowboy Carter is the most talked-about album this century."

"Billy Ray's already recorded three duets with Firerose that turned out to be duds, and Miley's upstaging his new one. He's desperate to make his wife a star - but the public is just yawning!"

Cyrus Feud

After Miley's parents' separation, the former Disney channel star found her relationship with her father becoming more distant.

Their relationship took a further hit when he remarried without her presence, leading to a chill in their interactions.

The source added, "It gives Miley satisfaction she's the toast of the music world right now while her dad can't get arrested."

In February 2024, a notable incident involving the "Party In The USA" hitmaker and her father during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards ceremony.

At the ceremony, Miley was honored with the Record of the Year award for her song "Flowers" and used the opportunity to share some thoughts.

According to an insider who spoke with Us Weekly, the underlying cause of the conflict between Miley and Billy Ray center around a perceived lack of respect.

The source revealed that the Hannah Montana actress continues to harbor feelings of hurt over what she considers disrespectful behavior towards her mother, Tish, and the rest of the family by her dad.

Following the release of the extensive 27-track LP, MILEY expressed her appreciation for being included in the album, reflecting on her admiration for the "Single Ladies" singer, which predates their collaboration, accompanied by a picture of the Cowboy Carter album cover.

Miley said on Instagram, "I've loved Beyoncé since long before I had the opportunity to meet & work with her."
