Beyoncé has worn several hairstyles throughout her career, and she's open about wearing wigs. However, she recently shared a video promoting her hair care line in which she flaunted her natural thick hair, shocking fans.
According to USA Today, the "JOLENE" hitmaker took to her official Instagram account to post an archival video in which she encouraged fans to participate in the "Cécred Wash Day" to promote her new line of products.
"Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it's about time I show y'all what it does for my hair," she said in the voiceover as several clips of her getting her hair washed appeared on the video.
The Cowboy Carter songstress addressed the criticism she received about her hair over the years, saying there has been a stigma against people wearing wigs who don't have long and healthy hair.
"That's some b******* cause it ain't nobody's business," she said of the negative comments.
Beyoncé Promotes New Haircare Line
In the caption, she noted that she has been coloring her hair blonde on natural hair for over 25 years, which played a significant part in creating the products for Cécred.
"It's the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts. Congratulations to the entire CÉCRED team for contributing to developing award-winning products," she added.

Launched in February 2024, the singer first teased fans by reflecting on her early days, saying hair has been a big part of her upbringing because her mom, Tina Knowles, was a hairstylist.
She also revealed that her girl group, Destiny's Child, first performed in front of clients at the salon that her mom used to work at.
Fans Shocked Over Beyoncé's Natural Hair
After the singer shared the video online, many people were in disbelief that the singer had very thick and long hair, as many assumed she had been wearing wigs this whole time.
"WEAVE WHERE? EXTENSION WHERE? ALL HERS," one wrote.
"wearing wigs is exactly why her hair is long and healthy. She can change up styles frequently without over-processing her own hair," one added.
"Did people really think Beyonce of all people would be bald headed???" one posted.
"Wow, look at Beyoncé's NATURAL HAIR! It's so long and beautiful!" one wrote.
