Hard rockers Mötley Crüe recently outlined where they plan to play their final shows, and it looks like there's going to be homecoming dates in Los Angeles.

"Rumor has it, the last few shows are going to be Vegas and LA, because we wanted to end in 2016 in Los Angeles where we started," singer Vince Neil told Las Vegas Weekly yesterday.

The Crüe's final tour kicked off this summer and will pick back up in October as the band plans to make 72 stops. After they play in Sin City, the band will return to its hometown in California in 2016. "After New Year's, we'll do three nights at one of the arenas in LA," Neil said. "And then do a special show at the Whisky a Go Go on our 35th anniversary."

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, drummer Tommy Lee envisioned the end. "We want to finish where we started. There's talk about the Staples Centre and the Forum, though it might end with a 1 a.m. show at the Whisky. Fuck, we all used to live around the corner from that club," he said.

Bandmate Nikki Sixx also shared his fantasy for after the final performances. "I dream about getting in my car after the final bow," he said. "I'm going to drive home, alone, with the radio off. I'm going to drive pass the Whisky, the Roxy, the Rainbow and the Troubadour. I'll drive up to my house, put the key in the door, walk in, turn around and be like, 'Where did all the fucking years go?' Then I'll close the door and wait for the next chapter."

The members toyed with the idea of making new music after the Final Tour wraps in that interview, and Sixx said if they ever make it into the Rock an Roll Hall of Fame (they've been eligible for eight years), the group would reform.
