Entertainment Weekly reports today that Icelandic art-pop group, Sigur Rós, will be featured on season four of "Game of Thrones."

According to the article, band members, Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Orri Páll Dýrason, are currently shooting their "GoT" segment in Croatia. However, what exactly they are filming and what their role is has not been revealed.

Are they acting in the series? Will they write a song to be featured on the show's soundtrack? Will they play a song on the show? We will just have to find out.

Apparently, "Game of Thrones" executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are big fans of the band and listened to Sigur Rós' music while on their set in Iceland.

This is not the first time the HBO series has featured a celebrated indie band. In seasons past, The National recorded "Rains of Castamere," and The Hold Steady recorded "The Bear and the Maiden Fair. Both songs were inspired by lyrics from George R.R. Martin's novel "A Song of Ice and Fire."

Outside of the series' soundtrack, indie artists have made appearances on the show (this could be what Sigur Rós is up to). Members of Snow Patrol and Coldplay have had guest spots on Game of Thrones.

Other bands have been utilized on the show's trailers and promos, including MS MR and Nine Inch Nails.

The new season of "Game of Thrones" is due Spring 2014.
