DJ Mustard is on the track. The prolific YG collaborator who dominated 2014 with his club-friendly sound has gotten back into the remix game with a fresh new take on Beyoncé's smash single "7/11" from the platinum version of her platinum-selling artist album Beyoncé. Mustard does what he does so well in giving the fun, upbeat, autotuned original a club-friendly makeover with more powerful drums, bigger chords, chops up the vocals to fit the structure of the song and adds his own "drop" with pitched, rising synths.

The original, which received production from DJ Freedo, Ricky Meyers and Iknoso, was built for the club world with its simplistic, yet effective production and lyrics, but Mustard spruces it up, edging the track towards the modern day trap and EDM scene with his new twist via Complex.

Mustard released his debut album 10 Summers in August, 2014 which had features from the likes of YG, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and others.

This is not the only big "7/11" remix to hit the web recently. Skrillex at his holiday party for his record label, OWSLA, recorded live on Twitch, premiered his remix alongside Diplo as their pairing Jack Ü. It was later officially previewed by Diplo and though quite different from Mustard, it shows the interest that the biggest producers in the world have in remixing arguably the biggest pop star in the world.

If you want more DJ Mustard, the man will be releasing his rework of Kanye West's "Only One" featuring that young up-and-comer Paul McCartney (just kidding) tomorrow.
