Enigmatic dubstep artist, Burial, has released his new single, "Temple Sleeper," through Keysound, which you can check out below. Like Burial's greatest songs, "Temple Sleeper" is a ghostly dance number with a propulsive beat and muddled vocal samples, though unfortunately it's all over in under three minutes. Burial fans will not be disappointed.

According to Pitchfork, "Temple Sleeper" is Burial's first official track to be released since 2014's "Lambeth," which appeared on the Hyperdub 10.4 compilation. Burial's most recent album, the critically acclaimed Untrue, was released all the way back in 2007 and no plans for a new album have been revealed. Instead of releasing full-length albums, however, Burial has been releasing a series of EPs over the last few years, the most recent being 2013's Rival Dealer.

Though Burial, whose real name is William Bevan, had toiled in self-imposed anonymity for most of his career, in early 2014 he shared a selfie through his website and posted a lengthy note promising new music. "I want to do some new tunes this year to send to my boss Steve and the label because they've been going 10 years now and have stuck by me," he wrote. "Hopefully by the end of most years I have done some tunes that are decent enough to release."

Though no new EPs or albums are on the horizon for Burial, perhaps this new single indicates that he's prepping another release soon.
