As we all know, there is new music from Justin Bieber on its way in 2015. But, it may be just around the corner! Today (Jan. 28), the "Home to Mama" singer and upcoming Comedy Central Roast subject teased two new song snippets on Instagram, featuring some tender acoustic guitars and lyrics that may or may not hint at his on-again, off-again relationship with Selena Gomez.

Bieber kicked off this Wednesday morning by posting two 15-second song snippets on Instagram, alongside a black and white photo of himself holding an acoustic guitar.

The first song makes a surprising callback to something Bieber rarely discusses in his music anymore - his faith.

"How do her eyes become lighter? / How do our eyes become brighter? / You gotta believe in something higher," he sings over a melodic, almost folky swell of picked guitar strings.

The second snippet is the big money - the one that seems to be a response to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez and her For You single "The Heart Wants What It Wants," which she famously debuted at the AMAs while crying.

And Bieber is insistent that he's not quite the bad guy he's portrayed as. "When it's raining, it's pouring / How do I always end up the enemy? / How do I wake up in the morning / And you're not right here next to me / How did we throw it all away," Bieber asks, once again plucking at the strings of the acoustic guitar. Though, unlike the first snippet, this one has a marked sense of intensity.

The final destination of these two tracks is unknown - the songs may be a part of Bieber's acoustic-driven collaborative project with Cody Simpson or they may be demos from his promised fourth studio album.
