Alesso has unveiled another track from his forthcoming album Forever. Collaborating with esteemed Venezuelan fashion designer, Carolina Herrera, who has worked with some of the most powerful woman in the world like Michelle Obama and Jackie Onassis, Alesso is using his track "If It Wasn't For You" to help launch the new 212 VIP CLUB LIMITED edition fragrances for the company.

The track was released in a video rife with product placement for his new fragrance. They also manage to fit in a small love story between a photographer and a dancer he is working with, while also cutting to live shots of Alesso performing in South America. Check out "If It Wasn't For You" below.

The 9th track from the album, "If It Wasn't For You" will be released on May 4. An unnamed male vocalist provides a well-placed top line over the anthemic melodies crafted by Alesso. It follows up the previously released single "Payday," which was unveiled in conjunction with a video game by the same name. Watch the behind the scenes footage where Alesso explains why he chose to do this collaboration.

As a growing name in the music industry, Alesso is now becoming afforded the opportunities of major pop acts with sponsorship deals and branding opportunities. This is a major crossroads where some artists are engulfed by the money thrown at them and completely sell out, while others manage to stay true to themselves creatively and choose only the right opportunities that suit them. We will see what path Alesso takes in the coming months and years.
