On the back of their sold-out Group Therapy 150 concert with ilan Bluestone, Lane 8 and Grum in Sydney at the Allphones Arena, Above & Beyond have some big news for their fans heading into 2016. The London-based electronic music trio are rebooting their Acoustic concept spawned in 2013, but with even more legs. Paavo Siljamäki, Tony McGuinness and Jono Grant have announced Acoustic II, which will include an album and tour of "the world's most iconic venues."

The group has not unveiled any further details beyond the album and tour in 2016, but this is much more then what fans got when they released their first Acoustic album in 2014. Above & Beyond Acoustic was an album that reworked some of the classic tracks from the A&B discography, including their Ocean Lab songs. Recorded over the spring and summer of 2013, the group worked with a 24-piece orchestra to strip away the electronic elements and write a brand new arrangement for tracks like "Stealing Time" mashed up with "Satellite," "Sun & Moon" and "Thing Called Love."

The duo kept it limited in scope, only performing three shows. They premiered the whole concept during two sold out shows on June 19 and June 20, 2013 at Porchester Hall in London with a 15-piece orchestra. They then brought the band to Los Angeles in October for a special one-night affair at the Greek Theater.

You can sign up for updates on the group's website and keep it locked here for any news about the tour and album. They have not revealed what music they will cover, but it is a good bet that tracks from We Are All We Need will be on there.
