You read that right! In order to celebrate 20 years of sketch comedy, MADtv will air an hour-long reunion special in January 2016 on The CW. The anniversary program will bring together the members of the original cast, as well as, the new faces that took over. Before these comedians make their way back to a screen near you, check out 15 of the funniest characters that stole our hearts throughout the years.
Get ready to load up on snacks and clear your DVR because this one-hour broadcast will showcase clips of "pop culture parodies and politically incorrect humor from the show’s 14 seasons, interwoven with new comedy material featuring 19 series alumni," according to a press release from The CW.
MADtv, which ran from 1995 to 2009 and featured over 300 episodes, has one five Primetime Emmy Awards. Supplying the world with countless catchphrases like "look what I can do" and "he look-a like-a man," this reunion special is long over due.

Cast members returning for the MADtv special include Michael McDonald, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephnie Weir, Debra Wilson, Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, and Eric Price.
Some of the stars from the show went on to become household celebrity names in shows like Family Guy, The Mindy Project, Key & Peele, and more. The reunion is produced by Telepictures and Epicenter Ventures, written by John Crane, and directed by Bruce Leddy.
The MADtv 20th anniversary special is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (Jan. 12) on The CW at 8 p.m. ET. In addition to the reunion event, The CW will also stream 75 of the craziest and most talked about episodes of the show beginning Jan. 5 via their digital network, CW Seed.
