It's only been a few months since we last heard some music from Cassidy but he's back at it again. The rapper known for his hit singles, "I'm A Hustla," and "My Drink n My 2 Step," has just released a new mixtape, Don't Trust Anyone III.
The project is the third part to the "Don't Trust Anyone" series; the first one dropped in 2013 and the second in January 2015. The first tape received buzz due to Cassidy's response to Kendrick Lamar's infamous "Control" verse.
The tape, hosted by Mayhem Music, has 30 tracks, with a lot of the production handled by Cassidy. Dolla Bill Kidz, BishopMakeItKnock, ButterBeats of DBK, DJ Thoro and DJ Absolut handle the rest of the production. The features include Fred Money, Murda Mook, T Woodz, Chubby Jag and more.
Back in August, Cassidy added in his two cents to the Drake and Meek Mill beef and of course sided with Drake. Cassidy had his own beef with Meek Mill in 2012. Not the first of beefs that Cassidy has had. But with this new tape out, maybe he will focus on that and connecting with his fans.
