'The Voice' Season 10 Begins With Auditions From Former Child Actress Alisan Porter & More

Season 10 of The Voice kicked off Monday night, with Christina Aguilera returning to the coaches' panel, joining Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine.

Season nine coach Gwen Stefani won't be on the panel, but will be a mentor for boyfriend Shelton's team.

Blind auditions began with Paxton Ingram from Miami, who said Michael Jackson was his biggest influence. After singing Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own,” he impressed the male coaches and ended up with Team Blake.

Caity Peters sang “Jealous” by Labrinth; she earned turns from Levine, Pharrell and Aguilera and chose Team Pharrell. Professional ballet dancer Nick Hagelin  sang “Lost Stars” by Levine, impressing all of the coaches except Levine. Hagelin ended up on Team Pharrell, Billboard reported.

The first four-chair turn of the season went to Mary Sarah, a part-time boot seller from Nashville who sang “Where The Boys Are.” She chose Team Blake.

According to Hollywood Life, Mike Schiavo turned some chairs when he sang and played acoustic guitar to Tove Lo’s “Talking Body.” But before he could decide, Levine joined him on the stage for a duet of his favorite Maroon 5 song, “She Will Be Loved.” And apparently, he joined Team Adam.

Bryan Bautista, on the show for the second time, sang “The Hills” and wound up on Team Aguilera. Abby Celso sang “Should’ve Been Us” and joined Team Pharrell, while John Gilman, who auditioned withDon’t Be Cruel,” joined Team Adam, his only picker.

The night's final performance came from former child actress Alisan Porter , who starred in movies such as Curly Sue. Her rendition of “Blue Bayou” inspired all four coaches to turn their chairs. Levine gave her a kiss while Aguilera went up to the stage to hug her; Porter ended up on Aguilera's team, Zap2it reported.

The Voice airs every Monday and Tuesday night at 8 EST on NBC.
