Last night (June 25), Beyoncé and Jay Z kicked off their hotly anticipated On The Run Tour at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. And among questions about sexy costumes, personal footage and how Bey can pull off those saucy "Partition" dance moves live, one big thought looms among fans: what was on the setlist?
The Carters did not phone in their time slot in Miami and performed an astonishing 41 songs live. Instead of performing solo sets and eventually coming together like many co-headlining tours, Bey and Jay traded off lead performing duties seamlessly throughout the night, performing roughly three solo songs a piece at a time before handing over the mic to their spouse.
The setlist was largely composed of expected material. Of course, the timeless Beyoncé and Jay Z collaborations like "03 Bonnie & Clyde," "Crazy In Love" and "Drunk In Love" were included, and the musician's biggest solo hits were also included.
