Drake’s Views has become the first album to earn 1 billion streams on Apple Music. The rapper has been the face of Apple Music since it launched in June 2015, and Views is just his latest accomplishment on the streaming service.

The album is also spending it’s 13th week sitting at the top of the Billboard 200, and the leader of Ovo Sound also just released his short film, Please Forgive Me.

Drake celebrated this honor with a pair of Instagram photos, where the rapper posted a celebratory plaque from Apple, which was signed by CEO Tim Cook. In the second, Drake poses with Cook, head of iTunes, Apple Music Eddy Cue, and the head of content for Apple, Larry Jackson.

According to The Verge, the 1 billion streams were important for Apple as the Views album was negotiated as a five day exclusive on the service this past April (Apr. 29). The company brokers deals such as this to get ahead over other companies such as Spotify.
