Country mainstays Little Big Town wow Madison Square Garden with a performance of their recent hit "Better Man" at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

"Better Man" is one of the tracks off their album Breaker.

Introduced by stand-up comedian Jeff Gaffigan, Little Big Town commanded the stage in glittering black and white outfits and an even more spectacular rendition of their country tune.

Taking On The Grammys

Aside from repping the country music genre with their performance, the country quartet attended the Grammy Awards as nominees in two categories: Best Album for Breaker and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Better Man."

During the untelevised pre-show of the 2018 Grammy Awards, Little Big Town found out that they won the latter.

"It means everything," the band's Phillip Sweet tells E! about the impact of the recent award on them. "It means so much when your peers and the community recognize the music."

This is not the first time the group took home a Grammy award. In 2012, Little Big Town won Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Pontoon" and snagged the award again in 2016 for "Girl Crush."

Little Big Lies' Taylor Swift Connection

"Better Man" is penned by multi-awarded artist Taylor Swift and nominated for Best Country Song at the Grammys. In an interview with ET, Little Big Town' Karen Fairchild shared how the group ended up with the song.

Swift sent Little Big Town an email with "Better Man" during the period that the band was making their current record Breakers. The popular superstar had been holding onto the song for some time. Fairchild calls the gesture "really sweet."

Kimberly Schlapman explains that they've all been pals with the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer for a long time.

"We have loved Taylor and been friends with her since she was a wee pup," Schlapman says. "We have always adored her. She's an incredible songwriter. She sent us this song and we fell in love with it instantly, and cut it and she loved what we did. It has been a great gift to us."

To congratulate the group on their performance and nomination, Swift even sent her friends a bouquet of blooms ahead of the big show.

After the awards show, Little Big Town will be very busy with the Breakers Tour kicking off on Feb. 8. Kacey Musgraves and Midland will be joining the group. In July, the band will also be co-headlining a summer tour with Miranda Lambert.
