QBA, a rapper from Mexico, has confessed to dissolving the bodies of three missing students in sulfuric acid. He has been detained in western Jalisco state since last month.

QBA's Confession

The rapper confessed to the prosecutors that he disposed of the bodies of Salomon Aceves Gastelum, 25, Daniel Diaz, 20, and Marco Avalos, 20, after dismembering them. He also said that he kidnapped and tortured the three film students before killing them.

QBA, whose real name is Christian Omar Palma Gutierrez, further revealed that he was recruited by his friend three months ago to work for the Jalisco New Generation drug cartel. Every week, the rapper receives nearly $159 in compensation.

Lizette Torres, the chief investigator, confirmed that QBA participated in three other murders prior to the deaths of the students. She also said that the members of the drug cartel mistook the students for the members of a rival gang.

After abducting them, the students were brought to a secret hideout where they were interrogated by the members of the Jalisco New Generation. While the three were held captive, one of them was beaten so badly that he died. This prompted the members to kill the two other students.

QBA will be charged with aggravated kidnapping.
