Cardi B is bringing summer early with her colorful and hot new music video for the track "I Like It."

The song of summer also features J Balvin and Bad Bunny made its debut on Tuesday, May 29. It comes from the female rapper's chart-topping new album Invasion of Privacy.

Cardi B Is The Queen Of Summer

In the bright and lively new music video directed by Eif Rivera, the mom-to-be struts across the streets of Miami, serving styles reminiscent of singer Carmen Miranda.

"They call me Cardi Bardi, banging body/ Spicy mami, hot tamale/ Hotter than a Somali, fur coat, Ferrari," she raps.

Page Six details that in the video, her bright blue headwrap is courtesy of Marc Jacobs, her flowy yellow skirt from Alejandro Collection, and her shoes from Christian Louboutin. For the next scene, she also wears a red floaty Michael Costello dress, rainbow Kollin Carter headwrap, Ranjana Khan earrings, and Monika Chiang sandals.

Meanwhile, the men wear floral shirts and Puerto Rico jerseys as they get ready to party during the hot summer nights.

If the track sounds familiar, that is because "I Like It" is inspired by "I Like It Like That," a 1967 hit by Pete Rodriguez, a singer from The Bronx. Cardi B's new rap track even features the famous refrain of the catchy classic song.

The new video dropped a week after she had donned an elegant Christian Siriano wedding gown for "Be Careful," also a track from Invasion of Privacy.

Cardi B recently united with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled to release the bilingual dance track "Dinero." She also contributed a verse in the  controversial bisexual anthem, "Girls."

"I Like It" has already entered the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at the eighth spot of the songs charts. The song becomes the fifth track from Invasion of Privacy to crack the Top 10.

Her previous releases, namely "Be Careful," "Bartier Cardi," "Drip," and "Bodak Yellow" have all secured their spots in the Top 10 of the songs charts in the United States, The Rolling Stone reported.

Invasion of Privacy, meanwhile, continues to dominate the albums chart. It is set to reenter the Top 5 of Billboard 200 on Wednesday, May 30. Cardi B's debut studio album already topped the chart a week after it was released in April.

'Be Careful' Model Praises Cardi B

In an interview with Essence, America's Next Top Model winner Keith Carlos, who played the role of Cardi B's husband in the music video for "Be Careful," shares what it was like working with the fastest rising woman of rap.

"It was a very hot day in the desert; we were wearing multiple layers of all-black clothing [which] made the heat even more uncomfortable," he said. "As a pregnant woman in that situation, she had every reason to complain, however, she didn't."

He also revealed that he had to remind himself that he was not marrying the rapper because he was so stunned by her perfection.

"I was the happiest man on earth; she looked simply amazing and hid her pregnancy very well with her dress," he admitted.
