Get a Grip and Rock on with Aerosmith's Music in Vinyl

Aerosmith is one of the legendary hard rock bands that started way back in 1970. The band  remains to be a popular act to follow to this day and age. The band is led by its lead vocalist, Steve Tyler, who is considered as one of rock music's greatest showman. The rest of the band members are guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton, second guitarist Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer on drums.

Aerosmith, named after their love and interest for flying, became popular in the '70s with their repertoire mix of rock and ballad songs. The famous band had tucked in four Grammy awards to its belt from 1990-1998.

Toys In The Attic

The limited-edition vinyl is a remastered copy at 33 rpm. Aerosmith's third studio album was out in the market on April 8, 1975. "Toys in the Attic" is counted in Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time." The most popular hits from the 9-track playlist are the classics "Walk This Way," "Toys in The Attic," and "Sweet Emotion." The first two singles made it to the list of the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll."

Rocks

The album launched 44 years ago in 1976 was described to have showcased the band at their "most raw and rocking" collection. The fourth studio album came in at number 176 on the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list by Rolling Stones. One of the reviewers titled it as Aerosmith's "magnum opus heavy," while another claimed it to be the most favorite album from the band. Here, the group is perceived to be "indestructible." "Back Saddle" and "Last Child" are some of the featured hits.

Get A Grip 

The 11th studio album comes in a 2LP copy. Released on April 20, 1993, "Get a Grip" that contains the hit ballads "Cryin'," "Crazy," and "Amazing" sold seven million copies by 1995. As of April 2020, 20 million albums have been sold. Another popular single "Livin' on the Edge" is from the album. Two Grammys were awarded to the album. It also landed on top of Billboard 200 albums charts and has produced seven singles.

Nine Lives

The 12th studio album from Aerosmith, released on March 18, 1997, was the first one under the Columbia Records label under a multi-million dollar contract. Considered as their comeback after their 1993 album, "Nine Lives" consists of 13 tracks. During the recording of this album, the band almost broke up and worked with several producers. Despite the struggles and difficulties they encountered doing this album, it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
