The global coronavirus pandemic has forced most people to stay indoors, and Jennifer Lopez is no exception - sharing her experiences with life under the new normal.

In a Spanish-language interview with Washington DC radio station El Zol 107.9 (WLZL-FM), Jennifer Lopez shares what it was like living through the pandemic. Although she could spend quality time with her family and also managed to release two music videos with Colombian singer Maluma, she says that it was not easy.

When asked how she was doing through the pandemic, she answered: "You know, it's not easy." The 51-year-old multi-hyphenate added that most people had that moment when they felt depressed or scared about what the future held for them during the pandemic. She even added that she also "had a lot of moments where I felt really bad, my kids too, everybody in the house."

Lopez, a mother to a pair of boy-and-girl twins, stressed moving and doing something even in the middle of stay-at-home orders. "It's more important on the days that you feel bad that you get up and do something. Do a little workout at home, do something that's going to make you feel good. Cook something you like, lift yourself up, keep going."

J.Lo even recalled a moment when her daughter, Emme, came to her bed, crying, "why is this happening? I miss my friends. Why is this happening in our life?" In the interview, she also noted that her kids saw everything, including the protests. Lopez explained: "sometimes things need to change, and when things change, sometimes it hurts a bit." However, the Pop Culture Innovator added that "it will always be for the good everyone."

"Sometimes you have to live those moments, and you have to stay strong and grateful in those moments because we have so much. We have our health, we're together, we have love," Jennifer Lopez told El Zol.
