BTS out, Saweetie in!

Following the success of BTS campaign for its McDonald's meal, Saweetie will join the fun and release her own meal with the food franchise.

Saweetie hyped her fans with a recent update regarding her upcoming collaboration with McDonald's.

On her Twitter account, she shared a teaser photo that features the food chain's logo and her name alongside the number "8.9."

"WHO'S READY FOR ONE OF MY INFAMOUS CONCOCTIONS ?!! #TheSaweetieMeal x @mcdonalds coming soon," she said.

The 28-year-old "Back to the Streets" singer also changed her Twitter's icon and cover to promote her celebrity meal. In addition, she goes by the new name of BIG MAC MAMA on the social media site.

After announcing the collaboration, her fans and followers try to guess the inclusion of the upcoming celebrity meal.

One Twitter user claimed, "The Saweetie meal finna be ranch dressing and barbeque sauce on a filet o fish with extra onions."

Another asked if the meal will include fries and chocolate, giving a nod to the official teaser photo.

However, it also caused major uproar online, alleging that the meal would instead upset their stomach. People shared memes of different characters holding their stomachs and a McDonald's fries box full of ketchup.

More Details About Saweetie's Celebrity Meal

CNN Business detailed what Saweetie's celebrity will include.

The whole meal has the regular Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium drink, and "Saweetie 'n Sour" sauce. This may sound normal to some, but McDonald's put a twist by encouraging the future customers to "remix" their meals.

Some suggestions are putting nuggets inside the Big Mac before munching it and putting ketchup on top of the burger instead.

The food chain aims everyone to follow Saweetie's notable meal "remixing" by adding nuggets and fries onto her Big Mac.

This idea, though, made the meal look unappetizing even before they release it.

Regardless of how they will eat the meal, the food chain promised to offer fans a different approach by creating an icy new packaging. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely to flop since its collaboration meals have been a hit since they began in 2020.

For instance, BTS helped the food chain grow their sales for over 25.9 percent in the U.S. alone.

"We saw significant lifts in McNuggets sales and record breaking levels of social engagement," CEO Chris Kempczinski said.

Before Saweetie and BTS, McDonald's already worked with Travis Scott and J Balvin for the McDonald's meals.
