The music industry is brimming with insane talent, and once in a while, these talented individuals cross paths and create something entirely groundbreaking. Musical collaborations have been a staple in the industry, and this time, Jake Hill and Rob Bailey are out to prove that two heads are definitely better than one with their highly anticipated collaboration, Land and Ammo.

Land and Ammo takes an entirely new take on American Folk Music, transcending the genre norms and creating a distinct sound that the world has never heard before. Rob Bailey of Kill Rob Bailey and better known for Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard, is setting out to create an even bigger name for himself with his latest collaboration with Jake Hill.

Rob is known for being an unsigned legend, self-publishing all his albums dating back to 2012. He earned number one on the iTunes Charts, number six on the Billboard charts and number 14 on overall digital sales since starting out his impeccable music career. His music draws from a mix of electronic inspirational workout music with aggressive vocals that have become a fantastic hit among new fans and old fans alike.

Meanwhile, Jake Hill is from Plymouth, Massachusetts, and is a long-time songwriter and live performer. He has partnered up with Rob Bailey to carve out an entirely new genre on their own while plucking inspirations from American Folk Music with their debut song of the same name, "Land and Ammo."

"Although we are telling an ominous tale, the song still feels upbeat like a battle cry. It is a song that truly gets in the listener and encourages them to chant along," shared Rob Bailey. "I think when I picture American folk music, it seems to lack energy. We bring that energy," he added. When crafting the song, the dynamic duo spent a lot of time navigating through what they deemed to be American without taking it too far down a political path.

"Land and Ammo" is a song that is for everyone. It is an entirely new take on a genre that's been said to be oversaturated and, at times, feeling flat. Land and Ammo breathes new life to American Folk Music, revitalizing a genre for an even bigger international audience through meticulous musical and vocal decisions along the way. "I think the gang vocals and the acoustic guitar and our two voices fare extremely well together and, although they are aggressive, will be easily digestible to the general public," explained Rob.

Jake and Rob have always been two creative souls, always yearning to start a project to express themselves. Whether it's through apparel, photography, video marketing, or any kind of creative outlet, these guys have been at it since day one. The pair have been friends for over ten years, but the time never seemed right to start a band together. "Something about right now feels like the perfect time," they shared.

Five years from now, they envision continuing to make music and tour. Jake has played live often, while Rob never has since his daily business requirements have never truly allowed him to play live. The time is finally ripe for them to start touring as they continue to build the Land and Ammo repertoire of songs, putting out a single once a month. One thing's for sure, Land and Ammo is truly bringing out a new perspective to music, blurring the lines between multiple genres and bringing people together.
