Drake looks to have thrown Taylor Swift some fairly petty shade after she surpassed him to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
This week, the "One" Dance hitmaker has dominated the charts following the release of his collaboration album with 21 Savage, "Her Loss."
The pair nearly swept the top 10 with the exception of Taylor, whose song Anti-hero landed at number one.
"Unholy" by Sam Smith and Kim Petras has reached the number 10 position.
"Rich Flex" by Drake and 21 Savage reached number two, with their singles "Major Distribution," "On BS," "Spin Bout U," and "Privileged Rappers" also reaching the top ten.
Drake shared a screenshot of the outstanding chart rankings on his Instagram Stories, but it's difficult not to notice that he has covered Taylor Swift's number one spot with a series of emoji. In the caption, he said, "@21savage congrats my brother."
Also, 21 Savage reposted Drake's Instagram without a caption.
After just breaking a Billboard chart record, Taylor Swift, it must be stated, doesn't seem that concerned.
Not only was her most recent album, "Midnights," the most streamed album on Spotify in a single day, but she also soared to the top of the charts worldwide, claiming the number one album and single in the UK.
She then outdid herself by securing the full top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, a feat that no other artist in history has ever accomplished.
Taylor reacted enthusiastically to the news by tweeting, '10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.'
In addition, he recently received several awards at the MTV EMAs, including best video and best long-form video for her 10-minute rendition of All Too Well (Taylor's Version), as well as best artist and best pop at the PSD Bank Dome ceremony. Taylor made certain she thanked her fans for every award.
But then, people just might be reading too much on Drake's post and no feud is being started. The two are good friends after all.
There was even speculation they were dating at one point. Taylor was present for Drake's 30th birthday party, and according to TMZ, the rapper presented her to his mother, a rare privilege.
Consequently, some have jumped to conclusions. Page Six said that some partygoers stated they were "intimately flirting, conversing closely, and laughing" Taylor's two biggest rivals in the world, except Kanye West, Katy Perry and John Mayer, were present, thus she was likely attempting to demonstrate how close she is with Drake.
