He is known for his breakout role in the first series of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton, for which he won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series presented by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Page's first starring role was in the 2001 television series Gimme, in which he portrayed Tanka. The next year, in 2005, he had a guest appearance in the British television series Casualty@Holby City. In addition, he has been in the stage shows The History Boys in 2013 and 2015 and The Merchant of Venice. Despite the theatrical production, he had a supporting role in the 2017 Shondaland drama For the People. In 2020, he will be known for the drama Sylvie's Love, whereas in 2018 he was known for a tiny appearance in Mortal Engines.
