Fans have been waiting for Old Dominion to perform in their cities over the past few months as the country group is currently on a tour across the United States and Canada, but it appears that they have to wait a little longer as the band decided to postpone their shows after Matthew Ramsay's accident; what happened to the musician?

According to Billboard, the country group was initially scheduled to play this weekend in Key West, Florida, but since the frontman was injured, they have to move the show later this month.

Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsay Health Condition After Accident

Taking to their official Twitter account, the singer shared a lengthy statement explaining what happened to him recently.

The musician revealed he got into an ATV accident that left his "pelvis fractured in three places." He gave fans good news, saying he's going to recover "just fine," but the bad news is he has to stay at home "for a little while" despite the scheduled show.

"I know we all had plans to sing and dance together in Key West. I was looking forward to that so much! We will make it up to you," he wrote.

The band member later noted that the group will keep fans posted regarding any updates, especially his recovery.

For fans who already purchased tickets, passes will still be honored for next year's shows and they don't have to purchase another one.

For those who are unable to attend their rescheduled concerts, full refunds will be offered at the point of purchase for the next month.

Old Dominion is currently in the middle of its "No Bad Vibes" tour for this year. Their next show would be in Reading, Pennsylvania, on April 13, 2023.

Per their official website, special guests for their United States tour include Frank Ray, Greylan James, and Kassi Ashton, while Canadian dates feature Frank Ray, Shawn Auston, and Steven Lee Olsen.
