Concerts are supposed to be fun and injury free. However, the past few years have proven that sometimes, it doesn't end well as it is supposed to. For some festivals, like, let's say, for example, the infamous Astroworld Festival, a small disturbance could lead to an even major catastrophe.

In the case of Bebe Rexha, she was on the receiving end of a fan's cellphone.

Throwing phones at the stage has been a longstanding culture for some concerts in the past few years. However, those fans who threw their phones had a good aim that would make sure that the phone would surely land on the stage and not into an eternal abyss.

Unfortunately, a fan of Bebe Rexha's New York Concert had the best and most terrible aim so far. In the now-trending video on Twitter, Bebe Rexha was approaching the left side of the stage, seemingly asking someone to throw something at her.

Whether that is actually the signal that she was giving or not, it seemed to be the one that the fan received. Seconds later, a flying smartphone flung into the air and landed directly on Rexha's face, causing the singer to hold on to hide her face behind and collapse to her knees as she bellowed in pain.

Moments later, her team from backstage hurried to get her, which ultimately interrupted the whole performance. In another shot, Bebe was being escorted out of the concert venue, with a medic and her team guiding her.

She even tried to wave goodbye to her fans, who were visibly shocked at what had recently happened. Check out the full video below.
