Noel Gallagher and High Flying Birds' show was hit with a bomb threat, and the incident is now being investigated as a Class D felony.

Concertgoers filled the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday to watch the highly-anticipated show of Gallagher and his band, High Flying Birds, alongside the co-headliner Garbage. They also tapped Metric to serve as the opening act, but the concert ended shortly after it started due to a reported bomb threat that led to an immediate evacuation.

The Daily Gazette reported a message appearing on screen after the show's first two sets, asking everyone to evacuate the venue calmly through the nearest exit.

The message also told the public to follow the directions set by the staff and police officers and reminded them not to rush or push to ensure everyone's safety.

The stage's screen did not cite the reason behind the sudden evacuation, but the New York State Park Police issued a statement the following day on its Facebook page confirming that it responded to a bomb threat alongside the New York State Police, Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Troy Police Department, and Saratoga Springs Police Department.

"Out of an abundance of caution, the concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center was suspended ‪at 9:40 pm and concert attendees were evacuated without incident," the state police said. "K9s completed a sweep of the venue after the crowd exited, with negative results."

Following the incident, the authorities launched a probe and clarified that it is being investigated as "Making a Terroristic Threat," which is a Class D felony.

Facebook users who attended the event expressed their concerns through the comments section, with one attendee revealing that they were only evacuated 20 minutes after the performers already left the scene. Another Facebook user supported the statement by asking the authorities to change the "9:40 p.m." response time to 10:00 p.m. following the reported "late evacuation."

Meanwhile, the Saratoga Performing Arts has not commented on the incident yet but it promoted the Kidz Bop Never Stop Live Tour on Facebook.

Shortly after the evacuation, Garbage posted a series of tweets on Twitter to check on the fans as it prayed for everyone's safety.

According to the members, they also had no idea what happened that night and were just told of "an emergency evacuation."
