Beyoncé might be one of the biggest artists today with millions of fans from all over the world but she was once a teenager who started out in a girl group seeking help from professionals.

More recently, Usher recalled the time that he basically became the singer's "babysitter" during the early days of her career back when she wasn't still a household name.

According to Complex, the musician recently spoke with "Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp" for an interview where he revealed that his friendship with the "Alien Superstar" singer, who's currently on her successful "Renaissance Tour," goes way back.

Usher said Beyoncé used to be in a girl group named The Dolls and there was a time in the past when he had to watch them.

Usher Considered Himself as Beyoncé's 'Babysitter'

"She used to be in a group by the name of The Dolls. I don't know if I could consider myself their babysitter, but I had a time where I had to watch The Dolls," he said.

Further reminiscing his time with the mega superstar, he said he was at Daryl Simmon's house and coincidentally, he was also there when they were working on music.

Since he was the oldest person in the room, he kind of became their chaperone or nanny.

The pair later reconnected when they were both big superstars in 2008 as they collaborated on the track "Love In This Club Pt. II" also with Lil Wayne.

Aside from The Dolls, Beyoncé also became a part of the successful trio Destiny's Child along with her co-members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

She later went on to have a successful solo career with solo albums, millions of sales, sold-out shows, and many more.
