Miley Cyrus felt Ariana Grande was a little scared when they sang together in 2015.

Cyrus and Grande notably performed Crowded House's 1986 classic "Don't Dream It's Over" in a cover performance years ago. Looking back at the experience, the "Flower" hitmaker spoke about how her flirty gesture scared the other singer "a little."

Miley Cyrus Recalls Duet With Ariana Grande

Cyrus recently shared part 34 of her "Used To Be Young" series on TikTok, during which she revisited her 2015 performance with Grande and shared the details about their lasting friendship.

According to Cyrus, she flirted with the "Stuck With U" hitmaker during the performance but the latter was a little scared. Still, they had fun together, especially having to experience performing onesies for her Backyard Session series.

"We were having fun," she added. "Ariana's a real friend. There's never been a time where I've asked her to do something that was important to me that she didn't come through, and same thing for me with her."

After the duet, they worked together again at Grande's 2017 One Love Manchester benefit concert and 2019 single, "Don't Call Me Angel," with Lana Del Rey.

Miley Cyrus' Friendship With Ariana Grande

Cyrus and Grande's collaboration led them to form a close friendship, with the "Hannah Montana" star revealing that she and the "Thank U, Next" singer have been there for each other whenever they need someone.

She told "The Howard Stern Show" that friendships are not based on whether two people are both famous.

"If I ever see anything, and I never even know if it's true or not, 'cause people say crazy s--- about me all the time, but I'll just text her and say, 'You know, I'm really thinking about you, and if you ever want to talk to me...'" she said in 2018.

Cyrus also called Grande one of her favorite artists at that time.

While she is fangirling with other musicians, she recently received another honor when Adele called her a legend during the "Easy On Me" singer's Las Vegas residency and admitted to being a "big Miley Cyrus fan" for years.

In response to Adele, Cyrus retweeted a post on X and said her words "mean the world" to her.
