Before Olivia Rodrigo dominated the charts and became one of the biggest artists around the world, she used to have a smaller following back when she was an actress at Disney.

More recently, "RuPaul's Drag Race" All-Stars 3 winner, Trixie Mattel, recalled how she missed an opportunity to collaborate with the pop star which she truly regret.

In a new episode of her Wow Presents Plus show titled "UNHhhh" with fellow "Drag Race" alumna Katya Zamolodchikova, she was asked by her co-host about the "worst mistake" that she ever made in her life.

Mattel then looked back at the moment when a "young pop artist" reached out to collaborate for a makeup video and she wanted to "hang out, she wanted to get to know" the drag singer.

Olivia Rodrigo Rejected by Trixie Mattel Back When She Was Not That Famous Yet

Since the drag performer didn't know Rodrigo back then, she rejected her request and said: "never heard of her, maybe later."

Little did she know, that person turned out to be Olivia Rodrigo and then a week later, the massive song "Drivers License" came out and when she heard about the news, she realized that the pop singer was the person who wanted to make a video with her.

"She wanted to come on my channel. That's fun. Olivia Rodrigo, if you're watching this, please come back on," Trixie Mattel said in a clip that made rounds online.
