In an eagerly anticipated revelation, the dynamic duo has finally spilled the beans about their forthcoming musical contribution to the "Mean Girls" movie. The announcement took place on a Wednesday (Dec. 13), where they not only disclosed the title of their collaborative masterpiece, "Not My Fault," but also treated fans to a sneak peek of the single's cover art and its imminent release on Friday (Dec. 15).

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the enchanting "Snow Angel" vocalist expressed her excitement, stating, "not my fault with @theestallion for @meangirls out this friday."

The cover art, a visual feast for fans, captures Meg and Rapp in a room adorned with blonde wig-clad mannequins. The two artists, donned in playful attires, showcase their more whimsical sides to the camera. The "Cobra" rapper dons a flamboyant pink headpiece, while Rapp confidently raises a pink baseball bat in the air, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the visuals.

The collaboration was initially unveiled through an Instagram video posted on Sunday (Dec. 10) on Rapp's official updates account. The vivacious "Plan B" artist, dressed impeccably in all-pink, introduced her partner-in-crime, Megan Thee Stallion, or as she dubbed her, the "Black Regina George." "We have a new song coming out for Mean Girls. That's right, give it up for the new fantastic plastic, Renee Rapp," she proclaimed with infectious enthusiasm. Rapp, who essays the role of Regina George in the upcoming "Mean Girls" film-a live-action adaptation of Tina Fey's 2004 movie-shared the screen with Fey, who is set to reprise her iconic role as Ms. Norbury.

Scheduled to hit theaters on January 12, "Mean Girls" boasts a star-studded cast featuring Bebe Wood, Avantika, Chris Briney, Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho, and Jaquel Spivey. The much-anticipated song, "Not My Fault" is undoubtedly adding an extra layer of excitement to an already buzzworthy production.
