Suzanne Somers performed for the last time at her own funeral.
Fans, colleagues and friends bid goodbye to Somers during a celebration of life on November 30 followed by a second memorial service in San Bruno, Calif. Two months after her death, her husband unveiled an exclusive video of the singer's last performance at her memorial.
Suzanne Somers Sang For the Last Time
Somers' husband, Alan Hamel, sat for an interview with People after sharing an exclusive video of his wife's final performance.
The video in question showed the crooner talking about her plan before singing her rendition of Leon Russell's 1970 classic, "A Song for You."
"It took me two weeks to rehearse this song before I could sing it without crying," she said. "It reminds me of that beautiful quote, 'Music is what feelings sound like.'"
According to Hamel, everyone cried after seeing the video of Somers singing. He also explained how special "A Song for You" is because it became their song, sharing how his wife sang it to him every night.
The video came out after Hamel spoke to the same news outlet, in which he talked about the hiking shoes Somers wore when she was buried.
"Suzanne never really had boots designed for hiking on the rocks, so I ordered the Timberland boots," he said. "[I] made my gift personal by drawing on them in a few words that represented our life to some degree and made them very personal to Suzanne. Every time she put on the Timberlands, she said, 'I am wearing you, and my boots will keep me safe.'"
Somers also wore Manolo blahniks which she notably had.

Suzanne Somers Dead
Somers died after battling cancer. Her breast cancer recurred this year and led to her death.
"Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family," the representative added. "Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on October 16th. Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly."
Sources told a news outlet that prior to her death, she and her family had been seeking treatment for her breast cancer but failed, so she was ultimately brought back home.
