Kali Uchis just released a new album titled "Orquídeas" and she revealed more details about her upcoming album which came to fruition while she was pregnant with Don Toliver's baby; check out what she has to say below.

The musician recently sat down in an interview with Billboard News to reveal that everything "came together perfectly" because little did she know that the title of her album "Orquídeas," which translates to Orchids, was the flower of fertility.

"The flower, for me, it always symbolized timelessness, femininity, luxury... It has an eerie, mystical quality about it as well. It's also the national flower of Colombia, so for me it all tied in," she said.

The singer had a hard time keeping her pregnancy private because she had a few shows and a red-carpet appearance over the past few months which hindered her from hiding the baby bump.

However, she still wants to have a boundary between her life as a public figure and her personal life with her family.

"It is such a fine line between trying to understand how much of ourselves are we really meant to share, or do we really feel comfortable sharing. And at the end of the day, I really thought it was strange that there is such an expectation on an artist to share their personal life," she added.

The recent news comes after Kali Uchis and Don Toliver confirmed their pregnancy through the music video of the song "Tu Corazón Es Mio."
