Transgender Model Amiyah Scott Lands 'Empire' Spin-off Role: Talks Transitioning as a Teen

Amiyah Scott was among the many rumored names mentioned set to take a spot with the season 8 cast of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta', as the first transgender woman to join the franchise. Although the rumors proved to be false and she did not make it onto the reality series a a full cast member, she has however, landed herself a role on the spin-off of another hit tv show, 'Empire'. During a recent phone interview she spoke about the many opportunities that have come her way since making the decision as a teen to transition from a young boy to a young lady.
Nene Leakes Working on New Show, Throwing Shade at 'RHOA' Cast

Former 'RHOA' star Nene Leakes is embracing all opportunities coming her way since cutting ties with the hit Bravo reality show 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.' Since the official announcement that she would not be returning for season 8 of the show, the hunt began for her replacement and many names have been rumored to try to fill her shoes. However, in her recent Twitter posts Leakes revealed that not only is she working on a new show but she also let it be known that no matter what, there will never be another Nene. She went so far as to throw shade and insults at rumored cast members, suggesting they were jealous or they wouldn't be talking about her so much.
