• Pretty Lights Drops Video for New Track ‘Only Yesterday,’ Announces Telluride Festival [WATCH]

    Pretty Lights, the nu-jazz electronica project of Derek Vincent Smith, is back with a video for his new track "Only Yesterday," marking the producer's first new music since 2013's Grammy-nominated album A Color Map Of The Sun. Additionally, the electro-soul pioneer announced that in addition to a few other upcoming tour dates he will be hosting a camping festival in Telluride, Colorado this August 26th and 27th.

    Eliot Lipp, a Brooklyn-based DJ/producer who is on the Pretty Lights Music label, dropped his latest album, Watch The Shadows, today (Oct. 14). With more than a decade making electronic music, this latest effort shows Lipp bringing a more "human" element to his sound while trying out new genres and styles. Music Times chatted with Lipp about the process behind making Watch The Shadows, the role classical music played, the influence Brooklyn has had on his evolving sound, and the story behind the Pretty Lights Keeping It Crew Tour, which features Lipp and labelmates Michal Menert, SuperVision, and Paul Basic collaborating on stage together.
