Now that it seems pretty certain that Jenner will not be charged with anything serious in connection with the accident, he is beginning to feel confidant about making future plans. Before the tragic accident, Jenner was already making headlines for the confirmation that he is indeed going through the process of transitioning into a woman. It looks like his transformation is back on track. According to a report by Radar Online, Jenner is gearing up to finally have his sex change surgery later this summer.

All that stuff seemed difficult until CBS was dealt a horrible blow last night, Feb. 11, when the car carrying legendary "60 Minutes" correspondent and industry icon Bob Simon careened out of control on the West Side Highway, resulting in a car crash so bad that Simon and the driver had to be cut out of the flattened vehicle. Unfortunately, Simon was pronounced dead at Roosevelt Hospital.

The four-car wreck has left the Olympic champion visibly shaken and upset. This comes on the heels of spending weeks under a microscope in the press because his gender reassignment transformation has been solidly confirmed. Unfortunately, his ex-wife Kris Jenner not only knew that Bruce struggled with his sexual identity, but she insisted they cover it up.

    "Days of our Lives" star Freddie Smith has plead guilty in an Ohio court to a string of charges stemming from an Oct. 7 accident that critically injured his girlfriend, Alyssa Tabit. The actor was allegedly drunk when he got behind the wheel after leaving a wedding reception with Tabit. Smith is accused of misjudging a turn and crossing the center line of State Route 84 before hitting a culvert which caused the car to flip end-over-end.
