Garage rock wizard Ty Segall has announced the release of a new live album called "Live in San Francisco (that's the cover up above)." The album is set for release Jan. 26 through Castle Face Records and was recorded with the Ty Segall Band, whom Segall recorded with for his 2012 fuzz-rock masterpiece "Slaughterhouse." Segall records most of his other albums by himself. According to "Pitchfork," the album is the latest in Castle Face's "Live in San Francisco" series, all of which are engineered by labelhead John Dwyer, who is also the singer and guitarist of psychedelic garage band Thee Oh Sees. The Ty Segall Band's "Live in San Francisco" was recorded at the Rickshaw Stop venue.
