Dr. Dre, Dee Barnes Assault Was In 'Straight Outta Compton' Original Script
The N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton has been a blockbuster success, pulling in a cool 56.1 million on the opening weekend at the box office. The film has been heralded by fans and critics alike, but there have been a few omissions or factual inaccuracies that have made headlines. Possibly the most glaring was Dr. Dre's abusive relationship with hip-hop reporter Dee Barnes, which was glossed over in the film, as well as his other alleged incidents of violence towards women. Barnes has spoken out about the incident and now the original script has leaked with a scene featuring Dre's abuse of Barnes.
