Oscar-nominated actor Leonardo DiCaprio may not have won an Oscar just yet, but his achievements as an activist are on par and may even surpass his acting skills. Known for his deep involvement in ecological and world issues, the 'Wolf of Wall Street' star is planning to turn his private, 104-acre island into a resort. Blackadore Caye is an unpopulated landmass just 45 minutes off the coast of Belize. Once an extremely popular spot to fish, the land suffered an eroding coastline, the quick loss of mangrove trees, littering and overfishing. DiCaprio plans to turn Blackadore Caye into "Blackadore Caye, A Restorative Island" by 2018, reports 'Vanity Fair.'
