    XL Recordings announced a compilation titled Pay Close Attention to celebrate the label's 25 years in our ears, and the last 15 of those years have provided us with a shelf's worth of amazing music. Music Times looked through the imprint's release catalogue and chose ten albums that are most worth the purchase price.

  • XL Recordings Release 25th Anniversary Collection

    Few labels have been so proficiently efficient as XL Recordings, in terms of turning our consistently quality work from such a small roster of performers. The label-which currently counts Adele, Radiohead and Jack White as members-is releasing a 25th anniversary compilation, titled Pay Close Attention, that features music from throughout its existence. The title is a reference to a Kool Keith sample used by label member The Prodigy for the track "Out of Space."
