• Future's Free Los Angeles Show Moved from Roxy to House of Blues due to Crowds

    The final free concert from Future's "Salute The Fans" mini-tour was moved last night after fans in Los Angeles became rowdy while waiting for wristbands. The rapper had tweeted "The Roxy" early in the morning, as he had at three previous dates. The crowd began piling up outside the venue's doors at 9 a.m. (more than 15 hours before the shows was scheduled to start) and as the line became longer and more raucous, police shut the whole thing down.
  • Los Angeles House of Blues Closing 2 Years Earlier Than Expected

    The House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles will close during the first week of August, ending a more than 20-year run in operation. The announcement is somewhat of a surprise, as previous reports suggested that the venue would remain in business until 2017. According to Billboard's report, no indication has been given as of yet why the demolition of the venue has been numbed up by nearly two years.

Last night, Feb. 7, in Los Angeles, as he was leaving the House of Blues after a performance by Big Sean and during which he was brought out alongside Meek Mill and J. Cole, Yeezy was approached by an aspiring rapper on the street hoping to get a chance to have his moment to impress West. Kanye obliged with young man and gave the aspiring rapper an unofficial tryout by spitting a few bars, all the while Justin Bieber taunted him in the background.
