Fans of the seminal pop-rock band The Smiths are sure to be excited about a new biopic movie project announced earlier this week, focusing on iconic frontman Morrissey. Entitled Steven, the songwriter's first name, this film project is set to focus on the singer's teenage years leading up to meeting Smith's co-founder Johnny Marr and starting the band in 1982. In other words, we get a great glimpse into the part of Morrissey's life that influenced some of your favorite Smiths songs. The BBC's War and Peace miniseries star Jack Lowden has been cast in the title role.
