Yet when Benji B needed someone to cover his BBC Radio 1 show, Kieran Hebden didn't just fill in: he went in, dropping tons of new and otherwise unreleased tracks by Joy Orbison, Pearson Sound, Madlib, Champion, Lil Silva and Future Islands' Samuel T. Last October, Hessle Audio label lead Ben UFO, joined by fellow London-based electronic producers Pearson Sound and Joy Orbison, recorded a special session for the Dutch imprint/record store/distro Rush Hour. The rare mixtape was originally available only via a limited edition batch of 50 cassette tapes, but now you can stream it in full on Soundcloud.
