Kendrick Lamar's instant classic major label debut good kid m.A.A.d city has been lauded for its vivid imagery and impeccable storytelling. If you look carefully at the cover of the album, it reads, "good kid M.A.A.d city, a short film by Kendrick Lamar." Now those scenes will come to life in a new documentary. Titled m.A.A.d, the film premiered a few months back at Sundance Film Festival and is now headed for screenings on the West Coast. The 14-minute documentary, directed by Kahlil Joseph and scored by Flying Lotus, will be available for fans to view at the Museum of Contemporary Art's MOCA Grande Avenue in Los Angeles from March 21 through July 27, 2015.
