Fox hit show 'Empire' may have some competition around the corner from Timbaland and La La Anthony. The two are set to partner with Leftfield Entertainment for a real life hip-hop docuseries in the vein of Empire. Anthony will be named executive producer with CEO David George, Will Nothacker and Derek Gordon of Leftfield Entertainment, while Timbaland will be executive producer of music on the show. -

With so many wedding reality show specials like Yandy and Mendeeces' "Love and Hip Hop NY" wedding special, "Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding" Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann and "RHOA's" Nene and Greg Leakes showcasing their union, wouldn't it be nice if we could watch the nuptials of Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union? Well, now we can. Union and Wade released footage of their romantic union in a movie trailer appropriately titled "The Wade Union" and it's beautiful. -

On August 1, 1981 at 12:01 a.m. the words "Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll" were spoken over a montage of the first space shuttle launch - marking the birth of the MTV and the beginning of a new promotional tool, music videos. Eventually, however, the network abandoned videos for the reality TV shows that boosted their ratings and their bottom line.
