Celebrities and musicians alike helped VICE celebrate its 20th anniversary last night (December 5) at a music festival in Brooklyn. The house band was led by Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontman Nick Zinner. Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Andrew W.K. all performed, but the highlights came when two of Hollywood's finest busted out some karaoke. Johnny Marr: The Smiths Guitarist, Fresh Off His First Solo Album, Is Ready For Another, Plus Maybe Working With The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Johnny Marr certainly won't be working with Morrissey anytime soon, and as a result it seems he's looking for other musicians to collaborate with in the near future. Among those possible partners Marr listed was The Vaccines guitarist Justin Hayward-Young and Yeah Yeah Yeahs axe-man Nick Zinner.
