• Jason Knauf's 1st Job As New Royal Press Secretary? Make Prince William, Kate Middleton Look More Romantic

Just yesterday, Nov. 22, we told you that Jason Knauf was named the new press secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. The 30-year-old is considered an industry whiz and also new to the royal family, something William has insisted upon. He did not want to import a media handler who had worked either at Buckingham Palace or Clarence House for fear their loyalty could be divided. Knauf will have the young royals's best interests in mind, and it is going to be his job to promote them as a more modern family. Part of William and Middleton's media success has been attributed to the fact that they have been promoted as a fairly normal couple that just so happen to have important jobs and lots of cash. They like to do things commoners also do, and there now seems to be a push to make William seem a bit softer. "People" magazine featured an interview with British florist Paula Pryke, who just received the Order of the British Empire from William last week for exemplary service.
  • Kate Middleton, Prince William Scrambling to Find New Press Secretary for Kensington Palace Office

Working as the official press secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry would be a great gig ... if anyone could actually land it. Their former media-handler left his position nearly two months ago, and while a string of extremely qualified candidates have been interviewed for the job, Prince William is reportedly making the process difficult. According to "The Daily Mail," securing a new PR person has become extremely tedious. Former BBC producer Ed Perkins quit Kensington Palace more than seven weeks ago, after only two years as their press secretary, and Prince William, Kate and [Prince] Harry have still not found a suitable candidate to succeed him. "It's a nightmare," claims a senior courtier to the "Mail." "Prince William does not take advice readily — let's put it like that. Several well-qualified candidates have been ruled out."
  • The NFL Allegedly Dragged Out, Bungled Their Investigation of Brett Favre Years Ago To Make League Look Better

Thanks in great part to the Ray Rice scandal the NFL has found itself under fire since the very start of the current season. There have been calls from anti-violence groups for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to step down as the organization scrambles to save face and put the brakes on the kind of scandal that could easily cost several suits their jobs. At the root of the situation is whether or not NFL higher-ups saw that now-infamous elevator video and chose to ignore it and give Rice a slap on the wrist so that he could continue playing.
  • Beyonce Plays The PR Game And Squashes Second Pregnancy Rumors With New Photo Making Fans Wonder If The Divorce Is On

Beyonce and Jay Z have really perfected the way that they handle the media circus that follows them and it rarely involves an actual comment. Instead they seem to prefer to have a single photo posted on social media do all of the proverbial talking for them. Think about it. Every time a specific rumor about the status of Beyonce and Jay Z's marriage hits the web they chase it a day or two later with a photo of them with Blue Ivy. They don't tell fans that they are a happy family instead they like to just show them. The last show from their joint On The Run Tour sent fans into a tailspin because Jay changed lyrics that seemed to indicate that Bey might be pregnant with baby number two. The media and fans got to spend a few days over-thinking the possibility before a new photo of Beyonce holding a celebratory glass of champagne appeared.
