CNN anchor Don Lemon found out just how easy it is to fall from grace last night. He was fortunate enough to have scored a sit-down interview with Joan Tarshis, one of the 14 women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault, and rather than handle the issue with a certain level of sensitivity, he ended up infuriating viewers. Tarshis claims to have stayed quiet for decades because she was embarrassed and ashamed of what reportedly happened to her and this week is the first time she has ever spoken publicly about her unwanted encounter with Cosby. -
Russian Tennis Federation's President Shamil Tarpischev Fined, Suspended Over 'Sexist' Remarks About Serena, Venus Williams
When Shamil Tarpischev, president of the Russian Tennis Federation, sat down for a joint interview with former Russian tennis star Elena Dementieva on "Evening Urgant," he thought he would be able to crack a few jokes to warm up the audience. Instead, Tarpischev crossed the line almost instantly by taking a shot at Venus and Serena Williams — two of the biggest names in tennis. While laughing, Tarpischev referred to the ladies as "The Williams brothers," a comment that left Dementieva looking stunned as the audience did not know how to react. He ultimately got fined and suspended over his "sexist" remarks.
