Electric Wizard is a U.K. doom metal outfit known for their lengthy tunes and NSFW mentality. With nearly 20 years under their belts since their eponymous debut, the group's biggest chart hit, "Time to Die," was released in September. Now, with the iron hot, the boys — and girl — will strike in North America for the first time in 10 years. Immediately after the album soared up international charts, singer Jus Oborn hinted that a U.S. run would be coming. "The album is meant to be played live," he told Occult in October. "I think that's pretty obvious from the way it sounds, which is raw and brutal. To be honest, we are probably going to end up touring the f--king world by the end of this album's life ... I'd like to get to South America eventually, and the U.S. tour is coming into play around April 2015, and then we'll be back to playing in Europe, so hopefully a world tour by the end of the cycle." The group, also consisting of Liz Buckingham and Clayton Burgess, is pretty much a dyed-in-the-wool 1970s/'80s metal retread.
