How many artists does it take to make a hit record? Triple J attempted to find out by getting 40 of the top 100 artists on their top 100 records countdown to come together and make a hit song. Triple J breakfast hosts enlisted 40 of the world's finest musicians to try and make this record from scratch and it didn't go so well. Even after gathering names like Lorde, Diplo, Skrillex, Flight Facilities, Flume, Ben Folds, Reggie Watts, Gotye, Kingswood, Alt-J, Disclosure, The Presets and of course Rick Atsley into one room, the group of artists were unable to get anything going. -
Grammy-Nominated ZHU Does 1st In-Studio Interview with Triple J [LISTEN]
One of the most mysterious artists in the world, ZHU just had his first in-studio interview in Australia on "Triple J" in the morning. Joining the Stereosonic tour across Australia, Steven Zhu, better known as the Los Angeles-based producer ZHU, stopped in somewhere near the Triple J studios to chat with the Matt & Alex on "Triple J" breakfast. The "Faded" producer has kept his identity shrouded in mystery and even went so far as to do the interview in another room away from interviewers Matt & Alex. The interview focuses on the ZHU image and how he is able to stay anonymous, the reasoning behind it and his music.
