• Wakarusa Festival Will Not Return In 2016, Promoter Blames Partners

    Arkansas festival Wakarusa has announced that it won't be returning for a 2016 session. Promoters Pipeline Productions say they were "significantly damaged by partners claiming to share our vision" and this is why they won't be going ahead with the festival in 2016. The 2015 iteration featured acts like Big Gigantic, The Roots, Thievery Corporation, Young The Giant, Major Lazer, Chance The Rapper and STS9 as some of their marquee bookings.

As is tradition, the Arkansas-based camping festival has released the entire selection of artists ready to take the stage on Mulberry Mountain. The full batch of headliners includes Major Lazer, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Chance the Rapper, The Roots, STS9, Portugal. The Man, Big Gigantic, Slightly Stoopid and others.
